1. Who publishes this site
harifsportbet.com is an independent guide to the Ethiopian sportsbook Harif Sport. It is not the brand's own site, it accepts no stakes, it holds no player balances and it issues no accounts. Everything described on it happens on the operator's own platform, not here. The site is published privately and is reachable at [email protected]. No company number or licence is quoted anywhere on these pages, because a guide of this kind holds neither.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the pages served from the harifsportbet.com domain and to nothing else. The moment you press a button that carries you to Harif Sport, you are on infrastructure this publisher neither owns nor sees, and the operator's own privacy terms take over. Those terms are theirs to write and theirs to change, and reading them before you register is worth the two minutes it takes.
3. What the web server records
Every request for a page or an image is written to an ordinary web-server log. Each line holds the requesting IP address, the moment of the request, the path asked for, the HTTP status returned, the size of the response, the referring address when the browser sends one, and the user-agent string the browser identifies itself with. If a page claiming to be this guide asks you for an Ethiopian mobile number, a bank PIN or a document scan, it is not this site.
5. Cookies and page scripts
These pages set no cookies of their own. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel, no heat-map recorder and no embedded social widget. The only script the site loads is a small file that works out which address an outbound button should open when it is pressed; it writes nothing to storage and reports nothing back.
The domain is delivered through Cloudflare, which terminates the connection before it reaches the server. Cloudflare may set its own operational cookies, __cf_bm among them, to separate human traffic from bot traffic and to keep a security challenge from repeating on every click. Those cookies belong to Cloudflare's service rather than to this publication, and Cloudflare's own documentation describes what each one does.
6. Why this processing is lawful
Where the GDPR applies, the server log rests on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f): a site that cannot tell a fault from an attack cannot be kept online. The interest is narrow, the data is minimal, the retention is short, and no decision about any individual is made from it. Consent is not collected for cookies this site does not set.
7. Affiliate links and the third parties behind them
The buttons labelled Log In, Register, Claim bonus and Play jackpot are commercial links. Following one passes your browser through a tracking address and on to Harif Sport, and that intermediary records the fact of the click so the referral can be attributed. What it records is governed by the operator's arrangements, not by this policy. This publisher receives no name, no phone number, no deposit figure and no betting history from that chain, and cannot look up what any individual visitor did after leaving.
8. How long anything is kept

A request from Addis Ababa and a request from Frankfurt therefore reach different Cloudflare machines before arriving at the same origin. Cloudflare's own transfer safeguards cover that leg; this site adds no further transfer of its own.
10. Rights under the GDPR
If the GDPR applies to you, you may ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, ask for erasure, ask for processing to be restricted, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected]. Be aware of a practical limit: an IP address in a rotating log is often the only thing held, and without something that ties that address to you, a request cannot be matched to a person. Where that is the case the honest answer is that there is nothing to produce, and that answer will be given plainly rather than dressed up.
11. Rights under the CCPA and CPRA
If you are a California resident, you may ask what categories of personal information are collected, ask for access or deletion, and opt out of any sale or sharing. There is nothing to opt out of here: no personal information from this site is sold, rented or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising, and no financial incentive is offered in exchange for data. Exercising a right under this paragraph will not change what you see on the site, because the site treats every visitor the same way.
12. Complaints, and changes to this text
Raise a concern at [email protected] first; a direct reply is faster than any formal route. If the answer does not satisfy you and you are in the EU or the UK, you may complain to your national data protection authority, whose decision does not depend on this publisher's agreement. This text will be amended when the site changes, and the date at the top is the only reliable marker of which version you are reading.
